In the warmer months, you can swim and play all day under the sun in our outdoor pool (or just lounge as the kids splash around). When it’s cold outside, we’ve got you covered—literally—with an indoor pool and a sauna as well.

Mountain Biking

With 1,700 acres to explore and miles of trails, Mountain View Grand is a mountain biker’s paradise.

Prefer using two feet to two wheels? Hiking trails for all skill levels await, including incredible natural sites in the Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, Weeks State Park, Mount Jefferson, and more.

Disc Golf

Trade in your clubs and ball to experience some of the best views on property with this game that incorporates the rules of golf with the fun of Frisbee. (Disc sets can be rented for $7.)

Open during the summer months, our historic nine-hole golf course offers panoramic views and a fun challenge for players of all levels.

Our four clay courts offer spectacular views of the Presidential Mountain Range—and they’re free for guest use on a first come, first served basis. Rental equipment is available from the Activities Center.

Whitewater Rafting

North Woods Rafting offers both whitewater rafting and float trips that are wonderful for families. Their fun, knowledgeable staff will guide you on an unforgettable trip in one of the most scenic locations in New England.

Movie Theater

When the weather gets rough, Mountain View Grand guests get to go to the movies! With over 500 movies to choose from, it’s easy to relax and enjoy the show. Visit the Front Desk for the current movie lineup.

Adult Axe Throwing

We provide the axes, you provide the aim! In this fun and unique competition (ages 15 and up), you’ll throw at a designated target from 20 feet away—you get one practice throw and then three that count for points.

Game Room

Open year-round, our Game Room is the perfect location to unwind after a long day (or maybe let the kids wear themselves out) with a game of pool, air hockey, foosball or ping-pong.

Evening Campfire

Available year-round (weather permitting), our campfire is a cozy way to end a great New England day. S’mores kits are available for purchase in our Provisions shop. Please contact the Front Desk to verify schedule.

Mountain View Farm

When the Dodge family opened its doors to guests in 1865, Mountain View Grand was a working farm producing much of its own food. Today, our working farm offers a variety of interactive activities.
