Bellman

The After the front desk clerk, the hotel bellman since 1865 is the next employee that guests encounter. It's up to the bellman to deliver exemplary service to provide a great impression of service to the guests. Hotel owners and managers rely on the good nature and customer service skills of service staff to maintain a stellar reputation and keep visitors coming back to the property. The greeting used by the bellman sets the tone for the guest's experience at the property. A bellman should use the customer's name when addressing the person to make her feel welcome and important. As they continue on the walk to the room, the bellman should point out areas of attraction in the hotel, such as the concierge station, the gift shop and the business center, if appropriate.

 

Sous Chef

The Sous Chef will be charged with creating exceptional food experiences in our highly rated dining room setting featuring local ingredients whenever possible. The environment is creative and collaborative and emphasizes continuous improvement. If you are innovative and enjoy being part of an ever-developing team, then this is the job for you!

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

The Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa’s concern for healthy, satisfied employees is demonstrated in a complete range of benefit packages. After completing the requirements, all full-time employees are eligible.

Exempt (Salaried) Employees:

  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance eligible the first of the month after hire date
  • 6 sick days annually, 1 personal day
  • 2 weeks' vacation after 1 year of service, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years

Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employees:

  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance eligible the first of the month following 60 days from hire
  • 6 sick days annually, 1 personal day
  • 1 week vacation after 1 year of service, 2 weeks after 3 years, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years

401k for Exempt and Non-Exempt Employees

Let us help you meet your retirement goals! Team members 21 and older are automatically enrolled in the 401k plan with a 3% contribution (payroll deducted), fully matched by the company. The company provides a 4.5% match for the contributor’s first 6%. You may increase or decrease your contribution to best meet your retirement goals or opt out of the plan entirely if you do not wish to participate.
