Spa Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to often-asked questions to ensure
a comfortable, enjoyable spa experience.

When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 20 minutes before your appointment so you will have time to enjoy the dressing room amenities and a soothing cup of tea in our relaxation lounges before your treatment begins. We also provide a shower and amenities if you are arriving after a ski or sporting event. Treatments will begin and end on time as a courtesy to the next guest. Regretfully, if you are late for your appointment, we may have to shorten your appointment time to be on schedule for the next guest.

What should I wear?
The spa will provide you with a robe and slippers. It is recommended that you completely disrobe for your spa service. Therapists are trained in proper draping techniques so you should always feel comfortable.

Should I avoid the Spa if I am pregnant?
All products are chosen with sensitivities and safety during pregnancy in mind. You will want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat, such as hydrotherapy, hot stone massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy. The Prenatal Massage is specifically designed to safely relax mothers-to-be. We recommened receiving massage after the first trimester.

Should I alert someone if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
Please notify the spa receptionist when booking your appointments.

Will I be able to purchase products that are used during my treatments?
Our spa boutique has a full array of products that are used during treatments, as well as excellent gift items to take home.

Are there any rules of spa etiquette?
To enhance your time and for the relaxation of all guests, we ask that everyone speak softly and refrain from using cell phones in all public areas of the spa. Mountain View Grand Spa is a unique and tranquil place.

When should I make my appointment?
Spa services are very popular with our guests. We strongly recommend you make your spa appointments when you make your room reservation or at least three weeks in advance. Weekend appointments should be made one month in advance. We require a credit card to reserve your appointment; however, the actual charge will be made to your card after the service is rendered.

Do you have male and female therapists?
We offer massages by both male and female specialists. We will accommodate gender requests when possible; however, we cannot guarantee availability.
