MVG Academy—Teaching Excellence to the Next Generation of Hospitality Professionals
Not many hotels offer an education program for a new generation of hospitality professionals, which has become highly regarded throughout the state, across the nation, and around the world.
3rd Annual Brookie's Challenge
The Mountain View Academy will be hosting the 3rd Annual Brookie’s Challenge to benefit David’s House, “a home away from home”. David’s House provides shelter and food for families who have loved ones battling illnesses. Brooke Ramsdell courageously fought cancer, and unfortunately lost her battle in 2012. Brookie’s Challenge was originally formed in 2013 and has become an annual event for the community to honor Brooke’s life consisting of a 5k run/walk. Previous years have consisted of a conventional 5k run, walk event. However, this year we are hosting a color themed walk/run Sunday morning on June 7, 2015 with the first heat starting at 11:00AM.
This will be a fun 5K color walk/run where participants will be showered in different non-toxic colors at different parts of the event. You can pre-register at the Mountain View Academy Facebook page or visit mountainviewgrand.com. Last year we were able to raise $13,000 and this year our goal is $15,000! Any help in us meet this goal is greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you June 7th supporting the David’s House and the Ramsdell family.Register for Brookie's Challenge
A Success Since Its Inception
Founded in 2004, the Mountain View Academy Hospitality Management Program hit the ground running and has become a great success. The majority of our graduates are from White Mountains Regional High School, however; we do have students from surrounding schools including: Littleton, Groveton, Profile, and Lin-Wood. We've partnered with the school thanks to the support of the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association, and the program quickly became a great success, both for the graduates of our program as well as the recognition of the program's excellence.

A Hands-On Hospitality Education Program for High School Students
Our two-year program not only offers an academically advanced curriculum for our students, it's also been designed to include a hands-on education in which our students get real-life practice in each and every element of the hospitality industry, working in every department at our resort and spa. We are so proud of our program but most especially of our enthusiastic students who become ready to begin an exciting career in this dynamic, changing and rewarding industry we call hospitality.
