Experience Mountain View Grand like never before..at the speed of dog! We are excited to announce a new partnership between Mountain View, Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel and the N.H. Sled Dog Rescue, History and Education Center. It’s your chance to take in the grand winter splendor of the White Mountains behind a team of rescue and second-chance Alaskan huskies. Rides on snow are available from mid-December through April, weather and trail conditions permitting.

Introduction to the Art of Dogsledding in New Hampshire – History, Hands-On Interaction and a Ride

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the tradition of mushing with a daytime, 45-minute interactive experience. Meet and greet the dogs, pet them, hear their stories, help harness and hitch the team, receive a brief history lesson, and even shout commands and help drive the team (at musher discretion for dog and guest safety, of course).Designed for families and couples who want to take the time to learn about sled dogs (20-25 minutes), then go on an incredible one-and-a-half to two-mile ride (20-30 minutes). Guests must reserve the dog sledding by 8pm the day prior. The dog sled team will not be on property if they do not have reservations.
Resort guest price: $145/sled
Pricing is based on two people per sled or a maximum of 340 pounds.
$38 will be charged for each additional person while remaining under the weight limit.
All times are approximate and vary widely based on snow conditions and time of day.

Rides are available at 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM, 1:00 PM, 1:45 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:15 PM.
