There is no more perfect spot to go sledding than the White Mountains of New Hampshire. You’ll quickly discover that sledding down our big hill is as fun today as it was for our ancestors over 150 years ago, when our hotel was founded. The sledding hill is open December through early March, or whenever there is snow. Bring your own sleds or rent one of Mountain View Grand's snow tubes for just $5. The hill is just steps from the front veranda. When your hands and feet get cold, warm up with hot apple cider or hot chocolate.
