The White Mountains Make A Great Playground Mountain View Grand has a wonderful kids' playground just steps from our front doors*, complete with slides, jungle gym, climbing wall, teeter-totters, swings, sandbox, and a great climbing tree. The playground* is enclosed with fencing to give parents a worry-free afternoon. Visit Our Mountain Top Farm Mountain View Farm is another great place for kids. From meeting our friendly farm animals to gathering eggs from our chickens and enjoying a family carriage ride, there's always something to do at the farm. The Mountaineering Club Give your child the gift of nature and endless fun in the Great North Woods. Children of all ages at Mountain View Grand will enjoy age-appropriate activities thoughtfully planned and professionally supervised throughout the year.
During the summer, holidays and school vacations, our trained Mountaineering Club guides host imaginative, interactive activities while parents can enjoy playtime of their own. The Mountaineering Club runs from late June to Labor Day and during holidays and school vacations for children ages 4-12. Participation in the Mountaineering Club is complimentary. Mountaineer meals are $12 per child, plus 20% house fee plus tax.
During the fabulous winter months, Mountain View Grand offers fun family activities such as sledding, snow-tubing, ice skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. We offer complimentary shuttle bus service to Cannon Mountain Ski Area in nearby Franconia Notch. Winter fun is just steps outside our door. Note:* The playground is unsupervised. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
