Discover your inner lumberjack (or lumberjill) at Mountain View Grand, where guests can learn to throw a double-bladed axe just like they do at woodsman skills competitions across the country.

Guests as young as 15 love to try their hands at throwing the two-and-a-half to three-pound axe at a wooden bull’s eye target, which is set up 20 feet away. The beautifully weighted axe slices through the air and sticks with ease.

Axe-throwing has been a great draw for business and association groups wanting to try new and innovative teambuilding activities, as well as wedding parties searching for something a bit out of the ordinary.
