Commemorate the Fourth of July with a weekend-long Independence Weekend Celebration at Mountain View Grand. Beginning Friday, July 4, the resort will come alive with history and family fun as Mountain View Grand relives the glory days of the late 1940s.

Enjoy complimentary family and children’s activities, golf, a relaxing spa treatment, delightful cuisine, and, of course, fireworks. Historic hotel tours will be offered throughout the weekend, taking guests back to the heyday of the grand hotel era.

On Friday night, July 4, make reservations for Mountain View Grand’s Formal Fourth of July 1949 Dinner. With a six-course feast inspired by the original 1949 Mountain View House Independence Day menu, guests will revel in the history of days gone by while enjoying creative fare from our talented team of chefs. See the full menu below. Dinner is $49 for adults and $22 for children.

While adults are enjoying a formal evening, children are treated to a night of fun all their own! Kids dine on cool buffet offerings, including a Make Your Own Sundae Table, while the evening concludes with festive activities and marshmallow roasting at the Campfire Club. On Saturday, July 5, the fun continues with family activities throughout the day and a rum and tequila tasting sure to please mom and dad. The day concludes with a Family Bluegrass Barbecue featuring the music of the Gopher Broke Bluegrass Band, capped off with a fireworks display.
